It's still not perfect, but much better than it was. So, I used a tedious, trial and error method of counter-distortion on my texture, so that it would appear closer to a cleaner, round crescent shape in-game. It's less noticeable when the textures are at the game's original resolution, but very noticeable when they're high resolution. The UV maps for the Mirror Shield cause pretty significant distortions to the crescent symbol, as they were intended for the new Gerudo symbol, which is symmetrical and shaped very differently. Because of this, I elected to include a set of high resolution icons by CYB3RTR0N in this mod. The crescent version of the Better Link mod also uses a unique texture for item icons meaning that it wont work with any icon texture pack that hasn't been specifically made to be compatible with it. I made some changes to the contrast and proportions of the symbol and accents to look a little closer to the N64 version of the shield. These texture are built on top of Art-Does-Not-Compute's work, who provided the crescent design for the Better Link mod, as well as a high definition Mirror Shield texture in their Link Skin Pack. This mod requires the Better Link mod to work. This is a set of high resolution textures for the crescent Mirror Shield included as one of the variants for the Better Link mod.
